🌲 Palia’s Elderwood Expansion: A Magical New Chapter Unfolds

Palia’s latest update, Patch 0.191, introduces the Elderwood Expansion—a lush, overgrown forest teeming with magic and mystery. This massive update brings a plethora of new content, including a new adventure zone, quests, creatures, and quality-of-life improvements.

🗺️ Welcome to Elderwood

The Elderwood is a brand-new map filled with content for every skill in the game. Players can explore this magical forest, uncovering new gatherables, creatures, and a continuation of the main story. Access to Elderwood is available to all players, but it’s recommended to have Fine Tools and complete the Temples Questline up through “Rooted in Place” before diving in.

🧙‍♂️ New Villager: Ulfe

Meet Ulfe, a young Umbraan boy who has been living in the Elderwood. The Umbraans are a subrace of Majiri with a unique perspective on the use of Flow. Building a friendship with Ulfe will be possible in future patches.

🔮 Artifacts and Relics

Discover Infected Essence and craft powerful Relics—new equipment that provides buffs to you and your party. Artifacts can be found throughout the Elderwood and are essential for crafting these Relics.

🐾 New Creatures and Critters

The Elderwood is home to new huntable creatures like the Ogopuu and Shmole, as well as new insects such as the Rockhopper. Anglers can look forward to catching new fish species, including some ferocious sharks.

🌾 New Crops and Recipes

Green thumbs will enjoy planting new garden crops found within the Elderwood. Additionally, a new set of cooking recipes utilizes the unique ingredients from this region.

🏠 Decor and Housing Improvements

This patch introduces the largest single batch of decor, including multiple new furniture sets. Players will also appreciate the increased decor limits on their housing plots, now expanded from 3,000 to 3,500 items.

📦 Courier Pets

A new feature, Courier Pets, allows players to send items to storage, enhancing inventory management and gameplay convenience.

🎮 Console Integration and Rewards

Players can now connect their Palia accounts to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles, unlocking exclusive rewards. The Premium Store has been updated with fresh styles, pets, and a new glider.
